Here you will find all my work from my PRL 214 class of Fall 2022. This class had us pick a corporation as a sample client to write about for the entire semester. The corporation I chose was St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

News Release

This piece was written to announce the upcoming anniversary of the St. Jude Hospital. It includes a call-to-action and a quote from the CEO.

Audience Persona

This piece describes two different audiences that St. Jude should target. It describes what media they respond to and why they would want a relationship with the hospital.

Applying the PESO Model

This work details a step-by-step PESO outline that could be used to market an anniversary event for the hospital.

E-Newsletter

This newsletter targets employees of the corporation and provides a call-to-action for fundraising for the upcoming holiday season.

Media Pitch and Media Contacts

This is a pitch to a journalist about covering an upcoming anniversary party. This is also accompanied by a list of journalists who would be interested in this kind of story.

DEI at St. Jude

This piece is an analysis of current DEI policies in place at St. Jude Hospital and how they could improve.

This fact sheet includes information that a journalist would find useful when writing an article about St. Jude.

Op-Ed

This piece is an opinion piece that would be a response to a negative op-ed written about St. Jude by a print publication.

Newsjacking 

This social media post plays on the recent twitter controversy with Kanye West to promote a new fundraising campaign for St. Jude.
